Project Challenge

RTL’s was engaged to haul and dump Coal Ash from the localised Loy Yang Ash ponds to the dump within the site. The works also entail the maintenance and management of haul routes, excavation and placement of clay for capping of bunds and drainage of wet ask from the pond to the recycle site.

RTL delivers this Project annually with its ongoing relationship with AGL at Loy Yang with its specialised fleet of amphibious excavators and low load bearing dozers that are ideal for this bespoke Project.

Project Outcomes

1. Ongoing specific Ash Pond Removal Project works for 20+ years at Loy Yang which makes RTL the contractor of choice for these works.

2. RTL is able to work with the ongoing Mine Operations and other site sub-contractors to complete these works.
