Project Challenge
RTL’s team was engaged as the principal earthworks provider on the Victorian Desalination Plant project.
RTL's Approach
RTL was the first contractor on site and maintained a presence on site until the plant gained final acceptance.
Project Outcomes
1. The project included all road construction and box cut construction for the plant footprint.
2. 6.5km of Storm water drainage installation
3. 22.5km of underground service trenching excavated
4. Earthworks for treated water storage ponds and dune construction and construction of subsoil drainage and all site dewatering.
