Project Challenge
RTL’s team was engaged for the remediation and rehabilitation of the Saline Batter Basin at Yallourn, the works entailed topsoil, seeding and drainage works.
RTL's Approach
RTL was able to mobilise and execute the rehabilitation works with their on-site people and plant as well as being able to utilise materials from on-site.
Project Outcomes
1. The project included all design and construct rehabilitation for an unstable batter.
2. All materials re-used from site for this Project.
3. Additional environmental controls installed within the mine site.
