Project Challenge
RTL’s team is to construct a haul roads and bulk earthworks for a crushing pad as well as strip and haul over 350,000BCM of overburden from the mining pit and place into the overburden dump.
RTL's Approach
RTL successfully delivered mining and earthworks works at the Galong Limestone Mine for Graymont. RTL was been able to mobilise people (local and experienced interstate workforce) and plant for this specific project as well as drawing on over 30 years of mining and bulk earthworks experience from their two current mine sites.
Project Outcomes
1. Our team of skilled FIFO operators and management were the backbone of this project and have made this achievement possible.
2. Our commitment to responsible mining doesn’t stop. As part of this venture, RTL focused on several development projects that align with our sustainability values. From environmental conservation to community well-being, RTL was dedicated to making a positive impact.
3. RTL was able to work with the wider Project team to optimise the haulage routes on site and place quarry materials at the desired location ahead of schedule.
